Sajid is applauded off after taking all 10

On Saturday the 8th of August 1998 something marvelous happened at Dunscar. Bradshaw beat Eagley... Oh and Bradshaw's pro Sajid Shah took all 10 of the Eagley wickets.

The picture left shows Sajid being applauded in after completing this feat. The other players from left to right are: Ian Tattersall, Mark Gwilt, Paul Tebay, Chris Evans(Back) David Morris(Cpt) and Neil Johnson.

Morris and Johnson put on a club record 3rd wicket partnership of 149 in the same match.

Sajid lookes a little pooped but happy after taking his ten wicket haul.

The Bradshaw team to that won at Horwich

A team photo taken before Bradshaw's 7 wicket win against Horwich at The recreation grond on Saturday 29th of May 1999

Back row: Jenny Dearnley (scorer), Neil Hart, Sajid Shah (Pro), Neil Johnson, Myles Cunliffe, Renier Potgieter (Overseas), Paul Stafford.

Front row: Chris Evans (Wicket Keeper), David Morris (Captain), Mark Millhouse, Adam McLoughlin, Rick Brandon.

A field setting as yet not seen this year but on a number of occations last year when Sajid was on fire, the batsman could only hope that he wasn't good enough to get an edge.

The bowling green end This wide angle shot shows the bowling green end of the Rigby's ground. On the left is the club house and changing rooms. The old bowlers hut behind the site screen has been replaced with a new structure. The Rigby cottages are to the right and far right is the score-box.

A team photo taken before going down by 4 wickets to league leaders Egerton at the Rigby's on Saturday, 19th June 99.

Back Row: Neil Hart, Andy Kilner, Myles Cunliffe, Renier Potgieter, Mark Gwilt, Adam McLoughlin.

Front Row: Chris Evans (wk) Sajid Shah (Pro) David Morris (Cpt) Paul Stafford.

Groundsman and Chris's dad, Alan Evans made up the 11 but he was still marking out the wicket at the time.

The Bradshaw team that lost to league leaders Egerton

A view of the Bradshaw banking with the beautifully kept garden behind.

On the field Bradshaw's big hitting overseas Renier Potgieter gets out by skying Egerton's Stuart Hornby to Gavin Nedd for 14. The non-striker is Pro' Sajid Shah.

The Bradshaw Banking. (Otherwise known as the executive stand) offers an excellent view of the action from side on.

It's about time that grass was cut. It's like a jungle up there.

What a mottley crew.

On the left is Bradshaw batting legend Denis Hobson (League batting prize winner 1964 & 1972. 7,411 runs in his career (all with Bradshaw)) with his wife Ann. on the right is ex-groundsman and current bowling green keeper Reg Wharton. Oh and in the middle is your's truly.

If we don't look to happy it's understandable. We were all out for 95 and beaten by 4 wickets.
