Tonge batted first and scored 182 all out with pro Weththasinghe scoring 75 and Phil Dickinson taking 6 wickets. In reply Bradshaw won the match after being awarded 5 penalty runs due to the slow over rate by the Tonge bowlers with Dave Morris the main contributor scoring 66.
Bradshaw batted first and scored a massive 335 for 1 with their professional Amol Muzumdar unbeaten on 167 and Chris Evans scoring 147. In reply Horwich only managed 157 all out with new bowler, Kennedy taking 4 wickets.
In the local derby Eagley batted first and scored 166 all out with Phil McDermott scoring 62 runs. In reply Bradshaw only managed 100 all out.
Little Lever won the toss and asked Bradshaw to bat on aa easy paced track. Bradshaw's first four batsmen all contributed with professional Amol Mazundar scoring a very comfortable 66. Deputy pro Adil Nisar was unusually expensive and Mo Adnan took four for 95. Both of Little Lever's opening batsmen gave a chance, but were otherwise untroubled as they raced to 169. The match was won with over 20 overs remaining.
Stuart Adams and family arrived at Bradshaw from Australia to take part in a festival match at "The Rigby's". The 1992 Team included Stuart Adams, Ian Moss, Pete Moss, Andy Kilner, Scott Walters, Dave Morris (jnr), Dave Morris (snr), Neil Senior Nick Lester and pro Paul Rayment. The opposition was led by Chris Isherwood and included Brian Wallwork, Dave Tattersall, Warrick Milne, Paul Shorrocks, Gary Garner, Rob Trengrove, Dave Senior and Nick Moss. Stuarts team batted first and scored 290 runs in 40 overs. This was a bit too much for the opposition, but it has to be said that the batsmen on both sides showed no sign of age as the ball travelled to all parts of the ground and the crowd was well entertained.
The evening function was a very busy affair with so many familiar faces about. Dennis & Ann Hobson, Paul Booth, Ray Taylor and family, Neil Senior & family, Dave Senior & family, Brian & Barbara Cole, Ted Green, Ian & Jill Moss and family, Dave & Lynn Morris and family. In a very tight match - Egerton beat Bradshaw by 1 wicket chasing 113 runs
Bradshaw batted first and were bowled out for 120 runs, which Farnworth SC managed to get losing 6 wickets in the process.

Chasing a target of 210 runs set by Little Lever, Bradshaw were bowled out for 129.
It was a dismal day in the local derby at The Rigby's as Bradshaw were bowled out for 88 and Tonge won by 4 wickets.

Walkden batted first on an excellent wicket and scored 340 for 5 with Mike Bennison 147 and Dave Smith 109 scoring the bulk of the runs. In reply Bradshaw managed 273 for 9 at the end of the innings with Mike Ward and Rob Trengrove each scoring 61.
Bradshaw were bowled out for 74, after chasing a moderate target of 154 set by Farnworth. Phil Dickinson bowled superbly to claim his 6 wickets.
Bradshaw were bowled out for 151 chasing a target of 206 set by Astley Bridge. Nick Lester continued his good form with the bat scoring 52 runs.
Kearsley, after bowling Bradshaw out for 157, won the match by 1 wicket with the last partnership scoring 32 runs.
Heaton scored 232 for 6 with no play after tea due to rain.

Egerton scored 175 for 5 on a wet pitch, but this proved too much as the home team struggled to 118 all out.

Abyshek Nayar stole the show today with his 6 wickets and 50 not out. Phil Dickinson provided good support with his 4 wickets as Bradshaw bowled Lever out for 80 and the home side won by 7 wickets.
Bradshaw were reduced to 140 all out by some accurate bowling. Dave Morris top scored with 39. Jame Duffy smashed 90* in 57 balls as Hyde coasted to an 8 wicket victory
Eagley 141-6. Good start from Chuck and Ian Helliwell, 60-0 off 13. Then Matt Dearden and Matt Mcguiness were introduced into the attack and one run came off the next seven overs for the loss of four wickets. Dave Shuttleworth held the middle order together with 39 to give Eagley a more respectable score from their 37 overs.
Bradshaw started well but lost three quick wickets to put Eagley back in the game at 62-3, but Nayar was on fire. His first 50 came off 29 ball, and he finished 70 not out to win the game with 10 overs left as Brsdshaw won by 5 wickets.
It was a close match at Castle Hill with Bradshaw falling just 12 runs short with Dave Morris scoring 80.
The match at "The Oval" was a very close one indeed with Walkden batting first and scoring 221 for 8 after a century opening stand between Mike Bennison and Dave Smith. In reply Bradshaw nearly made it as they were all out for 208 and professional, Nayar hitting another 100 runs.
Bradshaw 2nd team were convincing winners against Walkden in the Birthwistle Cup.
Bradshaw batted first and scored 271 for 9 at "The Rigbys" with professional Abyshek Nayar scoring 169 and Phil Dickinson 58*. Horwich made a good go of chasing the target, but were all out for 244 runs with Grant Long scoring 80.
In a rain reduced match which was lucky to get under way due to the expected weather forecast, Bradshaw batted first and scored 173 in their 37 overs. Phil Johnson top scored with 40. The Bradshaw bowlers stuck to their task and some good captaincy by Dave Morris who found the best in his combination of bowlers saw the home team to victory. Chris Wilson & Matt McGuinness were the pick of the bowlers & Aaron Barton-Wells claimed valuable wickets in his spell. Phil Dickinson produced the ultimate gem of a yorker in the last over to finish the match.

Bradshaw were destroyed by a motivated Walkden team at the Oval. Bradshaw only managed 145 with their professional, who has eventually arrived scoring 85. Walkden cruised to victory by 6 wickets with their professional Pandey scoring 80.

The rain put a halt to proceedings again at Sharples Park. Astley Bridge batting first, scored 220 for 5, thanks mainly to Rick Northrop with 65 runs. Matthew Dearden bowled well to pick up his 5 wickets. Bradshaw did not bat as the rain pelted down & there was more interest in who would be the first to play "slip & slide" on the covers.
The rain spoilt what could have been a fantastic day at Bradshaw as the entertained Kearsley. Professional, Amila Wettasinghe, would have been keen to impress the crowd at his former club. Bradshaw batted first and were in a commanding position at 132 for 2 before the rain came down. The game was never restarted and the points had to be shared. Mike Ward & Dave Morris continued their early form with 46 runs apiece.
It was a splendid day for the Bradshaw supporters at the "Tylsdesleys" today. The fantastic weather urged the away team to a fine 6 wicket victory mainly due to commanding century by captain, Dave Morris who was undefeated on 136. Earlier Westhoughton had scored 227 with a half-century from Steve Parker and other useful contributions from Adam Coates and Alan Gaskell. The Bradshaw spin twins, Matt McGuinness & Aaron Barton-Wells did all the damage with 3 wickets each.
The first match of the season saw Bradshaw entertain Heaton at "The Rigby's". Heaton batting first scored a handy 215 with Danny Guest top scoring with 59 runs. Phil Dickinson bowled well taking his first 5 wicket hall of the season while Matt Dearden also showed early form with the ball. In reply Mike Ward was the anchor man ending undefeated on 83. He received good support from the pro Jayasinghe who made 73. Nick Lester after taking 3 catches behind the stumps, smashed a quickfire 23 to allow Bradshaw to win by 7 wickets. Happy Days.
